Package Info
I offer packages that will go above and beyond traditional packages other companies offer. I offer a list of features like a buffet where you can build your own packages to suit your needs. There are some base features which come included with any booking.
For convenience I have put together 3 of the more common packages for weddings, and one for Corporate Events. The idea of a customized event is so that you can truly create a unique celebration for your event.
Please use the index on the left to choose a package. I have included all the relevant information for each. At the end of each package will be a link to return to the index.
Each Package includes a “Package Time” this is an average of hours I personally put into each package in preparation, meetings and on site work. My Professional hourly rate is about $60. This is different than most other companies who charge a flat rate fee with no hint as to he actual time they put into preparing for your event. All wedding packages start at about $1200.
TJ the DJ goes one step further in providing all clients with an online protected page where clients can view the details of their contract, meeting notes and other details as well as a running tally of the estimated time TJ the DJ has put into their event which is updated though out the preparation process. Know with confidence that you are receiving value on your entertainment investment with TJ the DJ with a service feature no other Red Deer DJ will offer.
Gold Package: The “basic” package that retains all the elements to a successful event.
- 3 Hours of Dinner Music
- 4 Hours of nonstop dance music.
- Booking Meeting - Set dates, go over contract.
- Sound System Adequate for a medium sized room/200 guests.
- 3 Pre-Event Meetings (Timeline/Agenda, Music, General Consultation)
- Included Package Time: About 20 Hours
Included in this package is customized intro music for bridal party for your Grand Entrance as well as your customized selection of dinner music.
If access to the location is permitted earlier in the afternoon I would be set up 2 hours before your event with completed sound check and system test, I will also be available for any MC/Presentation rehearsals.
We would meet at least 2 times prior to your reception to confirm details, make any necessary changes or additions in time line.
If I am unfamiliar with your chosen location of the hall I will also visit the location and create a floor plan so that I may further improve on my services to you. (within reasonable driving distance) or obtain a map for the lay out of the location.
You will receive a pre-request form with your booking package that will allow you to take your time to choose songs you would like or not like to hear, as well as note any dedications you would like to make. I will receive this list from you a week or so prior to your event so that I may add them fittingly to the over all program.
If further meetings, package adjustments and/or add-ons are chosen or required the price of this package may change in relation to those changes. All Charges will be confirmed prior to being billed, there will be no surprise billing.

Diamond Package: The most common package elements requested.
- 1 Hour Cocktail Music (Guest Arrival)
- 3 Hours of Dinner / Reception music (consecutively)
- MC Consultation Reception Planning and Time Line.
- 4 Hours of music (consecutively)
- Booking Meeting - Set dates, go over contract.
- Up to 4 additional Pre-Event Meetings.
- Sound System Adequate for a medium sized room/200 guests.
- This package includes features not listed that are unique to my service that are discussed at our booking meeting.
- Included Package Time: About 32 Hours
Included in this package is customized intro music for bridal party Grand Entrance as well as your customized selection of cocktail/dinner music. As well as pre-planned custom music for speeches and other note able events of your event including any presentations.
- If access to the location is permitted earlier in the afternoon I would be set up 2 hours before your event with completed sound check and system test, I will also be available for any MC/Presentation rehearsals.
We would meet at least 4 times prior to your reception to confirm details, make any necessary changes or additions in time line.
If I am unfamiliar with your chosen location of the hall I will also visit the location or obtain a map of the floor plan and create a floor plan so that I may further improve on my services to you.
You will receive a pre-request form with your booking package that will allow you to take your time to choose songs you would like or not like to hear, as well as note any dedications you would like to make. I will receive this list from you a week or so prior to your event so that I may add them fittingly to the over all program.
I will meet with your MC up to 2 times to coordinate a timeline, assist in reception planning and presentation for speeches, offer suggestions and ideas to further out line the challenges and responsibilities of the MC.
If further meetings, package adjustments and/or add-ons are chosen or required the price of this package may change in relation to those changes. All Charges will be confirmed prior to being billed, there will be no surprise billing.

Platinum Package: This the “Everything Including the Kitchen Sink”
- Present for Wedding Ceremony Rehearsal for timing of all music to be played, to check for set up location and other related concerns.
- Present for Gift Opening the Next Day with Sound System.
- Music for Wedding Ceremony (1 hour Seating prior to ceremony, ceremony, music until guests have exited)
- 1 Hour Cocktail Music prior to Start of Reception (or in the event of Ceremony held in same place as reception music will play continuously as cocktail music.
- 3 Hours of Dinner / Reception music (consecutively)
- 4 Hours of music (consecutively)
- Booking Meeting - Set dates, go over contract.
- Up to 8 additional Pre-Event Meetings.
- MC Consultation Reception Planning and Time Line.
- Sound System Adequate for a medium sized room/200 guests.
- This package includes features not listed that are unique to my service that are discussed at our booking meeting.
- Included Package Time: About 60 Hours
I will be present for your wedding rehearsal so that I may create a time line of events and specifically tailor the music to fit as seamlessly as possible into the flow of the ceremony to further enhance the majesty of the event Provide Music for the rehearsal Dinner (if at the Hall or location of reception)
I will be present at your gift opening with sound system, your guests will be able to hear the gifts and who gave them as well as some nice back ground music. If you have a morning brunch along with your gift opening you will have back ground music for that as well.
I will play your choice of music for the seating, for the entrance of the grooms men, entrance of the brides maids and for the bride herself.
Will play your choice of music for the signing of the marriage license and recessional. As well as your choice of music for exiting of the guests and music will continue until everyone has left.
Set up is unobtrusive and out of the way as possible while also permitting the optimum impact for sound. Bride, Groom and Officiate will be audio mixed so that all guests can hear the exchanging of vows.

Corporate Package: Christmas Parties, Summer Parties, Parades and more.
- 3 Hours of Dinner Music (consecutively)
- 4 Hours of music (consecutively)
- Booking Meeting - Set dates, go over contract.
- Up to 2 additional Pre-Event Meetings.
- Sound System Adequate for a medium sized room/200 guests.
- Includes Small Light Show.
- Price Protection - Multi Year Booking.
- Included Package Time: 15+ hours
Small light show to add color and a more festive atmosphere.
If access to the location is permitted earlier in the afternoon I would be set up around noon with completed sound check and system test.
If I am unfamiliar with your chosen location of the hall I will also visit the location and create a floor plan so that I may further improve on my services to you.
We would meet at least 1 times prior to your event to confirm details, make any necessary changes or additions in time line.
I will if necessary meet with your MC to go over the evenings timeline if you choose to include speeches or presentations within the booking time.
Your choice of music to be played though out dinner and presentations.
You will receive a pre-request form with your booking package that will allow you to take your time to choose songs you would like or not like to hear, as well as note any dedications you would like to make. I will receive this list from you a week or so prior to your event so that I may add them fittingly to the over all program.
Price Protection is my thanks for booking me time and again. If you book me in consecutive years you will receive the previous years price for the same package if my price has increased. If my price has not increased you will receive a 10% discount off the booking price.
